The life of
Dennis Wong could play a vital role in the development of many Chinese
entrepreneurs in America. Growing up, Dennis Wong was frustrated that no one
was there to help him. For an eternity, he felt no one could give him direction
about becoming more successful. Today, Dennis Wong is passionate about being
able to share his hard-earned knowledge, trials, and tribulations and what he
found to be his road to success.
Dennis Wong was born in a poor area of Hong Kong. He recalls that he and his family lived in a government run housing development. His father was rarely around for support. In 1968, an uncle brought Dennis Wong and his family to the United States, where they were moved into an affluent white neighborhood. However, prejudice was still common and Wong continued to feel like a second-class citizen.
Throughout school, Dennis Wong studied hard and in time went on to college where he majored in electrical engineering. Unfortunately, engineering jobs became fewer and fewer and Dennis Wong was unable to rely on that industry for success. Feeling he had no other option and in the midst of a booming housing market, Dennis Wong and his younger sister entered the world of real estate.
After many years of success, Dennis Wong found himself in his 40s with failing health. It was then that he made the choice to move into the nutritional provider market. Partnering with a product developer, Dennis Wong and his sister founded the company now known as YOR Health. With representatives from America to Europe and everywhere in between, YOR Health has become one of the fastest-growing health-related companies in the United States. Dennis Wong credits the products and the many years of scientific research behind them for his own revitalized health and looks forward to sharing YOR Health with those seeking a better life.
